Great cafe/bar for the remote workers of Brooklyn. Wi-Fi is generally fast. Come in the morning for a coffee or grab/transition to a drink in the afternoon or evening. Service is great, and the atmosphere will have you living the true hipster, creative-type, freelancer life from whatever indie film made you want to move to New York in the first place. Just don’t ever say that out loud like I just did ;)

Great spot! Sometimes the music is a bit much, but otherwise good vibes. Also a great place to study or work.

A wonderful coffee spot with a super friendly staff and of course, delicious coffee. They have a lunch menu of $10 pressed sandwiches and they are very yummy for the price. (Try the buffalo chicken sandwich, you won’t regret it) They have an outside sitting in the back which is fun when the weather is nice! Nice chilled music vibes that are great for studying or hanging out then turns into a fun social upbeat bar environment at night.

Been here twice now. Baristas are always so nice and friendly. Mochas are good, got the raspberry ricotta toast today and that was delicious!

I just realized today that I don’t walk in my own community. I stopped by this place cause it’s the last resort before I go in the subway. I needed a nice latte to stay awake with. Not only did I get a nice lattee but a bag of bagels for the munchies. Nice place. It seems like a bar also. Different. Can’t beat it for the hot cup before the subway. #kingofcoffeenyc

I've only been to The West in the evenings when it is a bar. It's an interesting concept to have a bakery / cafe during the day and a bar at night. Great atmosphere and a cozy small bar in my opinion. Always a reliable pour of the Guinness and fun cocktails. Lovely outdoor seating in the back and they usually play sports games on the back projector so it's a great local spot for sure.

All the way bagel was amazing! Great spot for quick bite in the morning and great vibes for a cocktail in the evening.
